Bucks Drama Club Presents Neil Simon's Rumors A farce in two acts, set in Palisades, that shows a dinner party gone topsy-turvy. An enjoyable romp that has been staged countless times all over the country, this is one of Simon's most celebrated comedies. Carries a subtle undercurrent of sadness, which becomes more clear when we set it alongside the events of the playwright's life. The Arts and Cultural Council was honored to have one of our members, Kirby Fredendall, painter and educator, speak at CB East High School for this year's Art Honor Society induction.  Congratulations to all past and new inductees on this worthy accomplishment.

Thank you to everyone who made a contribution to our Giving Tuesday campaign. This year the Council focused on art education for under served students and schools in Bucks County. Although we did not reach our goal, we are never the less happy to donate $440 to Bucks Artists in Residence to bring art lessons to those students.

The Arts and Cultural Council of Bucks County, a consortium of organizations and individuals devoted to promoting the region as a cultural magnet, has selected Bucks County Community College as its Member of the Year.

The award, which will be presented at the council's annual members reception on September 13, at the James A. Michener Museum, recognizes the college's work in the education, promotion and support of the arts in Bucks County.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at the Doylestown Arts Festival, all the volunteers and our member artists Kirby Fredenall, Dore' Vorum, Patti Bradeis and Mary Shafer who shared their work.
